Pinball, picture booth, video game, balloons on the ceiling, the statue of Liberty with a burger instead of a flame and a TV in the floor. With all the things in the entry way, walking in to a Red Robin franchise at 9990 E. 13th Street in Wichita makes you take a step back. A wave of noise soon hits you and you see all the waiting chairs are full.

Although there was a lot going on, Red Robin is one of the best burger places I have been. Gourmet burgers are their specialty, but they have everything from chicken to macaroni and cheese to salads and wraps.

My mom, sister and I went to Red Robin in Wichita on Monday. The whole entry area was full of parents sitting and waiting, while children play games trying to get bouncy balls out of the broken machine.

It took a while for the waiter to get over to us once we were seated. By the time he approached, we had decided what we wanted to order. We ordered an appetizer of mozzarella sticks. My sister and I ordered a burger, and my mom ordered a wrap.

The burgers were delicious but huge. Along with our burgers my sister and I shared a chocolate milkshake. Creamy with not too much chocolate, it was one of the best milkshakes I have ever had.

Although the food was delicious, the atmosphere was a little over the top. Music blaring, children screaming and televisions on, and, at the time, it felt like total chaos.

Along with all the noise, my sister expressed her disappointment, multiple times, that we did not get a cool glass for our shake. All the tables around us got a cool glass. This may seem like a petty thing to waste anger on, but this had happened before to her.
