Dragons Win Homecoming Friday, October 08, 2010 By Mr. Williams - D Williams Advertising After a rough start to the season, the Cameron Dragons saw their first win of the season when it mattered most.  LeBlond struck first, but things sat at a 14-14 tie at halftime.  The Dragons pulled away 21-14 in the third, but the Golden Eagles struck back and tied things up before the third quarter expired.  In the fourth, the Dragons scored their fourth and final goal bringing the score to 28-21 in favor of the home team. LeBlond had a shot but couldn't get the goal so had to hand the possession back to the good guys.  The Dragons ran the clock on the turnover of possession down to 1:00 minute to play.  The Eagles made a run, but the Dragon defense held strong and, with under 10 seconds on the clock, forced the final turnover on downs.  With that, they took a knee and ran the clock out.  The Dragons won their homecoming game 28-21 and, hopefully, started a slew of victories to come!    Check back next week for all the pictures from Homecoming week!
